How to Submit Photos and Art
We pleased to be implementing two new features of the Loligoth Database, the Photo Gallery and an Art Gallery. The Photo Gallery will serve anyone who wishes to view photos of different lolitas representing each style of the lolita fashion, and will also help lolita newbies to “do it right.
The Art Gallery will serve as an outlet to lolita artists who would like to have their art showcased on the database. With the influx of art posts on the EGL Community, I thought it would be nice to have them here on the dbs as an alternative or addition.
Here is some helpful info on how to submit art and photos to the database:
HOW TO SUBMIT PHOTOS:
In an email to photos@loligothdbs.com, please include the following information:
- your username and email address
- photo(s) of your choice in JPEG format, with a max pixel size of 800×600px (or a link to a larger image that can be sized up by clicking the photo)
- lolita style being represented (ie sweet, gothic, classic, guro, etc)
- outfit rundown, including brand names
- credit to the photographer if applicable
- please make sure your photos are watermarked somehow
After your submission is made, the admin will add it to the gallery.
HOW TO SUBMIT ART:
In an email to art@loligothdbs.com, please include the following information:
- your username and email address
- piece(s) of ORIGINAL art of your choice in JPEG format, with a max pixel size of 800×600px (or a link to a larger image that can be sized up by clicking the image)
- style of art
- medium(s) used
- inspiration for art piece
- link to deviantART if you have one, or a website
- please make sure your images are watermarked somehow
